Set off on the road with us!
Let us take you on an unforgettable journey! We will begin it at our atmospheric guesthouse and set off along Droga do Białego Street, where after a few moments we will reach the Biały Forest. We can stop for a moment by the stream, meet frogs jumping around in spring, and in winter set off on a snowy walk (don’t forget sledges for the children!).
At the fork, we will turn right towards the Biała Valley (going left you can reach the Wielka Krokiew ski jump and the winter Snowlandia, but we will tell you about that later).
Biała Valley – one of the most picturesque valleys in the Tatra Mountains – is located just a few hundred metres from Zakopiański Dwór. A pleasant route that does not require special preparation (except for winter conditions – then crampons are recommended) will lead us along the stream, through a forest path to a waterfall, and from there uphill to Sarnia Skała or along the Path above the Valleys (Ścieżka nad Reglami) to Kalatówki or directly to the Strążyska Valley.
A very good idea for a walk is climbing Sarnia Skała, where on a nice day there is a beautiful view of Zakopane and Giewont – an ideal place for a short rest, enjoying the scenery, and then descending towards the Strążyska Glade. The glade is known for its wonderful view of Giewont, which can be admired at any time of year.

Moreover, only a few steps will separate us from the charming Siklawica Waterfall, which is very popular among tourists. You can feel as if you are in a fairy-tale land. On the glade, we can sit down in a cosy tea house, enjoy a well-deserved piece of cake and set off on the way back, this time along the Strążyska Valley. From this place, we have the opportunity to set off to conquer the famous peak towering above Zakopane – Giewont. However, even walking a few hundred metres in its direction can be tempting, as wonderful views already open up there (just above the junction with the path leading to the Mała Łąka Valley). If we are not yet tired and feel like a longer hike, we suggest a walk to the Mała Łąka Valley, from where there is also a view of Giewont, and the route itself is easy and pleasant and, importantly, less frequented by tourists. When choosing either of these options, we will leave the Tatra National Park at the same point and, turning right onto the Path under the Valleys (Ścieżka pod Reglami), we can head back towards the guesthouse. In winter, this is a good place for playing in the snow, sledging and ski touring trips (marked routes are available). Don’t forget to build a snowman!
On the other hand, when it is warmer outside, it is pleasant to sit in the sun on the meadow, have a small picnic, read a book or simply rest after an intense day. After a dozen or so minutes of walking, we will once again be at the gates of the Biała Valley, where we began our trip. For another day, we can leave a walk to the famous Wielka Krokiew ski jump, take the chairlift to the top and see where the ski jumpers take off, who compete here every year during the World Cup. From the ski jump, we can go along Piłsudskiego and Zamoyskiego streets to the popular Krupówki Street, which enjoys great interest among tourists at any time of day and night. Going downhill, we will reach the market under Gubałówka and the cable railway to this popular viewpoint. Gubałówka is a place from which you can admire an incredible panorama of the Tatra Mountains. Despite the crowds that can be found there, it is undoubtedly worth visiting. The views are unforgettable! Do not forget that after returning to Zakopiański Dwór, you should enjoy a well-deserved, delicious dinner prepared by our wonderful head chef! Or perhaps you will also be tempted by a dessert or relaxation in our Relaxation Zone.
